Apache Ant 1.8.3 릴리즈

Apache Ant에서 1.8.3 버전을 릴리즈 하였습니다.

Apache Ant는 자바 빌드 툴로서 1.8.3버전에서는 기존에 발견된 버그들과 기능 개선을 하였습니다.
참고할 사항으로는 이번 Ant는 자바 1.4에서 동작하는 마지막 버전으로, Ant 1.9.X버전부터는 Java5기반으로 동작하게 만들 것입니다.

Hi,

on behalf of the Ant development team, I have the pleasure to announce
the release of Apache Ant 1.8.1.

Key features of the 1.8.1 release are

   * new task augment allows to add attributes or nested elements to
previously defined references
   * numerous bug fixes and improvements as documented in Bugzilla and
in WHATSNEW

Apache Ant 1.8.0 정식버전이  릴리즈 되었습니다.
이번 버전의 새로운 특징은 아래와 같습니다.

  1. A new top level element extension-point allows build files to be extended with custom targets more easily
  2. If and unless attributes will be evaluated according to the values of the properties entered if these properties evaluate to true, false, on, off
  3. Ant now requires Java 1.4 or later
  4. New task include provides an alternative to <import> that should be preferred when you don't want to override any targets
  5. Numerous bug fixes and improvements as documented in Bugzilla and in WHATSNEW
