The Apache Tuscany team are pleased to announce the 2.0 M2 release of the Java SCA project.
Apache Tuscany provides a runtime environment based on the Service Component Architecture (SCA). SCA is a set of specifications aimed at simplifying SOA application development which are being standardized by OASIS as part of the Open Composite Services Architecture (Open CSA).
This milestone release is a further step towards the 2.0 final release, highlights include:
Improved spec compliance
Initial support for Distributed OSGi (RFC 119)
New Webapp integration with support for various web technologies and frameworks
Maven Archetypes to make developing SCA applications easier

단순화하고 있는 서비스 지향 아키텍처(Service Oriented Architecture, SOA) 어플리케이션 개발을 목표로, Apache Tuscany는 서비스 컴포넌트 아키텍처(SOA)를 기반으로하는 런타임(runtime)을 제공합니다.
SCA 규격은 Open CSA(오픈 컴포지트 서비스 아키텍처)의 한 파트(part)인 OASIS에서 표준화되고 있습니다. (http://www.oasis-opencsa.org/)
Apache Tuscany SCA 2.0-M1 릴리즈는 Apache Tuscany SCA 2.0 릴리즈 완성하기 위한 로드맵상의 첫번째 단추를 끼우는 중대한 사건(the first milestone on the road)입니다.
이번 첫번째 릴리즈는 견고한 OSGi 기반과 OSGi 방식을 따르는 확장(extensions)과 Tuscany 모듈의 개발, 빌드, 테스트와 배포를 지원하며, 가장 최근의 OASIS SCA 설계 규정을 통합하는 첫 시발이 되었습니다.
다음 릴리즈는 OASIS 규격을 준수할 수 있도록 계속해서 갭(gap)을 좁힐 수 있도록 조정하는 릴리즈가 될 것이며, 현재 OSGi 기반위에서 어플리케이션 레벨의 OSGi/SCA 통합을 위해 더 멀리 나아갈 것입니다.

The SCA specifications are being standardized at OASIS as part of the Open Composite Services Architecture (Open CSA) - http://www.oasis-opencsa.org/.
The Apache Tuscany SCA 2.0-M1 release is the first milestone on the road to a full Apache Tuscany SCA 2.0 release. The goal of Apache Tuscany SCA 2.0 is to provide an OSGi based SCA runtime that is compliant with the OASIS SCA specifications.
With this first milestone release, a solid OSGi foundation is in place to support the development, build, testing and deployment of Tuscany modules and extensions following OSGi best practices. The first steps have also been taken to incorporate the latest OASIS SCA draft specifications.
In subsequent milestone releases the compliance gap with the OASIS specifications will continue to be narrowed and, now that the OSGi infrastructure in place, OSGi/SCA integration at the application level will be explored further.
