Apache Tomcat 6.0.33 릴리즈

The Apache Tomcat team announces the immediate availability of Apache Tomcat 6.0.33 stable.

Apache Tomcat 6.0.33 is primarily a security and bug fix release.
All users of older versions of the Tomcat 6.0 family should upgrade to 6.0.33.

Note that is version has 4 zip binaries: a generic one and three bundled with Tomcat native binaries for different CPU architectures.

Apache Tomcat 6.0 includes new features over Apache Tomcat 5.5, including support for the new Servlet 2.5 and JSP 2.1 specifications, a refactored clustering implementation, advanced IO features, and improvements in memory usage.

CVE-2011-2481: Apache Tomcat information disclosure vulnerability

Severity: low

Versions Affected:
Tomcat 7.0.0 to 7.0.16
Previous versions are not affected.

Description:
The re-factoring of XML validation for Tomcat 7.0.x re-introduced the vulnerability previously reported as CVE-2009-0783. This was initially reported as a memory leak
(https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=51395). If a web application is the first web
application loaded, this bug allows that web application to potentially view and/or alter the web.xml, context.xml and tld files of other web applications deployed on the Tomcat instance.

Mitigation:
7.0.x users should upgrade to 7.0.17 or later

Example:
See https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29936#c12 for an example web application that can be used to replace the XML parser used by Tomcat.

The Apache Tomcat team announces the immediate availability of Apache Tomcat 7.0.20

Apache Tomcat 7.0.20 includes bug fixes and the following new features and fixes compared to version 7.0.19:
- JSP files with dependencies in JARs are no longer recompiled on every access thereby improving performance.
- Update to version 1.1.22 of the native component of the AJP and HTTP APR/native connectors.
- Update to Commons Daemon 1.0.7.
- Converted unit tests to JUnit 4.

아파치 톰캣 팀에서 Apache Tomcat 6.0.26 안정화 버전을 릴리즈 하였습니다.
이번 릴리즈는 Apache Tomcat 6.0.24의 버그 픽스를 통해 이루어졌습니다.

이 릴리즈는 4종류의 zip 바이너리 파일로 구성되어 있으며, 1개의 메인 파일과 서로 다른 CPU 아키텍쳐에 맞춘 3개의 톰캣 네이티브 바이너리로 구성되어 있습니다.

Apache Tomcat 6.0은 Apache Tomcat 5.5에 새로운 Servlet 2.5, JSP 2.1 규약과 리팩터드 크러스터링 구현 및 확장된 IO 특성과 메모리 사용 개선등의 기능을 포함하고 있습니다.
