Apache CXF 팀에서 2.1.4으로 패치 릴리즈를 알립니다.
Apache CXF는 오픈 소스 서비스 프레임웍(open source services framework)입니다.

CXF는 여러분이 JAX-WS와 JAX-RS 같은 프론트-엔트 프로그래밍(front end programming) API를 사용하는 서비스를 구축하고 개발하는데 도움을 줍니다.

이 서비스는 HTTP, JMS 또는 JBI와 같은 전송방식을 다양하게 분석하여, SOAP, XML/HTTP, RESTful HTTP, 또는 CORBA와 같은 프로토콜과 다양하게 통신할 수 있습니다.

The Apache CXF team is proud to announce the availability of the 2.1.4 patch release!

Apache CXF is an open source services framework. CXF helps you build and develop services using front end programming APIs, like JAX-WS and JAX-RS.
These services can speak a variety of protocols such as SOAP, XML/HTTP, RESTful HTTP, or CORBA and work over a variety of transports such as HTTP, JMS
or JBI.

This is mostly a patch release to fix problems and issues that users have
encountered.

2.1.4 fixes over 90 JIRA issues reported against 2.1.3. See:

아파치 Qpid 커뮤니티에서 Apache Qpid M4를 릴리즈 하였습니다.

아파치 Qpid(http://qpid.apache.org)는 확장 메시지 큐잉 프로토콜(Advanced Message Queueing Protocol, http://www.amqp.org)를 구현할 수 있는 수단으로써의 크로스 플랫폼 엔터프라이즈 메시지 솔루션(cross platform enterprise messaging solution)입니다.

Qpid는 JAVA와 C++과 C++, Java (JMS 구현(implementation)을 포함한), .Net, Python, Ruby로 작성된 클라이언트 코드간 중계역할을 지원합니다.

이번 릴리즈에 포함된 새로운 특징은 아래와 같습니다.

* .NET, WCF and excel support for AMQP 0-10
* SSL added for C++ broker and all clients
* Windows port for C++ client & broker
* C++ Broker
    o ACL
    o Active-Active clustering
    o Federation, push bridges & dynamic routes
    o RDMA for C++ broker & C++ client (70-80us, yes us max latency on
      a well setup machines)

자바 메시지 서비스 (JMS, Java Message Service)

네트워크에서 컴퓨터간 메시징이라는 일반 통신을 지원하는 선 마이크로시스템스사의 응용 프로그램 인터페이스(API). 표준 메시징 프로토콜과 자바 프로그램의 지원을 받아 특별 메시징 서비스를 제공하고, 자바 메시지를 주고받는 자바 애플리케이션을 개발하는 데 사용한다. 또한, 기업 메시징 시스템 액세스를 위한 API로서, 컴퓨터간 데이터 교환, 이벤트 안내, 서비스 요구 사항 등과 같은 정보를 포함하는 메시지를 비동기적으로 주고받는 비즈니스 애플리케이션을 작성하고 다른 시스템이나 다른 언어로 쓰여진 프로그램을 일원화하는 데 주로 사용되며, 자바 객체를 포함한 메시지와 확장성 생성 언어(XML) 페이지를 포함한 메시지를 지원한다.

Apache Cocoon 3.0.0-alpha-1 Released

아파치 Cocoon 커뮤니티에서 Cocoon 3.0.0-alpha-1을 릴리즈했음을 발표했습니다.

Apache Cocoon 3은 Cocoon 2.2을 대폭으로 수정하여 재작성(major rewrite)하였습니다.
이는 Cocoon 2를 기반으로 하고 파이프라인 컨셉, 사이트맵과 Cocoon 2.2와 많은 점에서 매우 유사하며, 슬림화되었으며 어떠한 Java환경에서도 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 디자인되었습니다.

여기에 SAX components를 사용하는 pipeline 예제가 있습니다.

   pipeline.addComponent(new StringGenerator("<x></x>"));
   pipeline.addComponent(new XSLTTransformer(
       this.getClass().getResource("/test1.xslt")));
   pipeline.addComponent(new XSLTTransformer(

pipeline.setup(System.out);
pipeline.execute();

On top of this, Cocoon 3 has the goal to become an integration
platform for RESTful webservices and web applications.

There are several Maven 2 archetypes available that help you to get
started. Find a list and usage instructions at

The release artifacts are available from the central Maven repository
(http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/) or you can download them from the

Ivy 2.0.0 released

Ivy 프로젝트가 2.0.0 릴리즈를 하였습니다.
이는 아파치 하에서 발표한 첫번째 정식 릴리즈입니다.

Ivy는 프로젝트 의존성, 유연성, 사용자 특성을 고려한 용이한 환경설정, Apache Ant와의 강력한 통합을 관리(recording, tracking, resolving and reporting)하기 위한 도구입니다.

이번 2.0.0 릴리즈의 주요 특성으로 아래와 같습니다.

* enhanced Maven2 compatibility, with several bug fixes and more
pom features covered
* improved cache management, including dynamic revision caching
with fine grain TTL
* improved concurrency support with cache locking and atomic publish
* namespace aware validation, allowing to use validation with
extra attributes
* new 'packager' resolver added
* better and more homogeneous relative paths handling
* better support for local builds
* numerous bug fixes as documented in Jira and in the release notes
